My order some for my sunglasses/visor. :thumbsup

edited to add, the larger ones (particularly moths at night) provide added sustenance on a long trip...nom nom

It's on my pack list as of now John. Thanks!

Know any good sources of collapsible buckets?

Those clothes are £4.39 / pack incl. delivery on ebay. There's also a huge selection of collapsible buckets!

Both will be useful as an emergency potty for when you're stuck on the M20! ;)

Thanks!! :)

I use the pikey ( can I use that word in that context?) version which is an old tshirt rag and a little bottle of g101. Cost: under £1. :)

I'll just use the free squeegees at the garages in France. Extra pikey!

Unfortunately the A2 isn't any better. I would give yourselves an extra 6 hours at least to get through Dover.

Thanks for the heads up, Neil. I don't have a spare 6 hrs between end of our Walshy Day and my Shuttle, but I'll join the M25 boogie earlier than planned and just do my best.

Looks clear enough for the last couple of days. It'll just be pot luck.

From what I can discern from BBC News / Travel services, the diversion onto A20 between J8-9 (to avoid where the trucks are stacked) is the bottleneck.

I have planned a Campbell's Super Shortcut avoiding this and the M2/A2 (as per travel correspondent McApe). Adds 20 miles and around 1 hour, but if that's a rolling, reliable hour, then that'll do fine.

Plus, it finishes with a nice cruise up the coast from Hastings direction :-)

I think McKeans delays weren't just operation stack. Was that not the day there were trains cancelled too?
Folk seem to be taking 35mins on the M20 diversion so doesn't sound too bad but almost 2 weeks to settle so looking positively in sure it'll be fine. :)

Some locals on SELOC have posted routes that are quicker than the diversion and the m20 etc too...
