Hi Guys

Thanks to everyone for a tremendous afternoon & evening.

Ken, Scotty & Ken's mate (sorry forgot your name) a massive thanks for all your help getting the house back in shape on Saturday morning. I think when we do this again, I'll hire cleaners for the morning after :)

Delighted everyone had so much fun - but TBH i'm not that suprised, we have a great group of people :)

A big thanks to Shug also for organising, and for helping ensure everything went so smoothly at Knockhill.

My mum wont read this but she was also a legend sorting the food.

Knockhill were great - for the next one we'll hit them for a discount to see if we can raise even more money for charity!

I've already started to think about how we can make the 2008 event even better :)

Andy

Just a suggestion but Tut was fairly definite about this years TT being the last, maybe we could have a 4 hour trackday followed by a road run (new destination required obviously).

You took it too far though Dave.  The one text I wrote was actually pretty decent. The buttons on that phone are way too small for my stupid big thumbs. I hate texting at the best of times.

Nice answerphone message too Scotty, cheers for that.

Andy,

It was no bother cleaning up small price to pay for so much fun and we got to eat the breakfast BBQ!

Just about caught up with things now.

I should be getting the footage through today to start with the edit. Hopefully that means I'll have something to post in the next couple of days!

Worth pointing out the products we used on the day. 'Twas the Archos 405 player/recorder with the Archos Headcam attachment. Pricewise, you can put the kit together for just over £200 - click the link below and scroll down to add the Helmet camera to get £10.00 off the pair

i thought it was a brilliant bit of kit, once the guys had strapped it to my helmet, took it in my hands, pressed on record button and job was a good 'un!

I cannot wait to see the footage from G's car in it! Enless hours of fun with that bullet cam! :thumbsup

The bullet cam, can you screw it to a mount?
You know like how you can screw a digi SLR to a tripod...
Am I making sense?

Dunno if anyone driving on the day has mentioned it...

...but it was refreshing to see the more forgiving 'tyre barriers' at the apexes. Any mention of this in the briefing? Is this a permanent plan does anyone know?
