If there was a reduced rate I would be extremely tempted for an hour??
If not, I'm up for pax with some of the SE guys to get an idea what my Liz might be able to do

good man - 25 cars spread out over a good mile and a bit isn't too bad mate, at times its way quieter. Usually busiest at the start.Pedro wrote:
No probs lettting guys past me, I just hope they are patient with the new guys; 25 cars sounds a lot on the track at KH.
I would like to get some pax laps with the more experienced SE drivers if poss..![]()

Keep an eye on the temperature of your coolant - you wouldn't want that to boil over!Pedro wrote:No worries about coming in to the pit often, my car's old and couldn't take many laps without a rest/cool down; I was planning to do about 20-30mins then come in for about the same time, then back out again, so I hopefully don't push the car or me too much.![]()
Normally starts 30 mins before blast off so 12-30pm it is! Yip but generally after the briefing.haggis catcher wrote:Eh Sorry, What time is the track briefing starting? Do i have to sign in the young lad , and his girlfriend for the passenger laps?

Bloody typical - that car in the rain is a major challenge, but at least the rear suspension is no longer siezed and the camera is now installedtut wrote:Looks like a wet one again, forecast is heavy rain.

See you there.
Keep it below 100. Most folks turn the heaters on to full blast on track as an over-flow of the heat in the system. TBH if you're on track there will be enough air getting into the system for it not to be a problem - the problem may come when your static in the pits. Most peeps leave the car turned on to ensure the coolant is still flowing round the system. The problem comes when the fan won't kick in...Pedro wrote:Thanks Andy, I'll defo pop over & say Hi![]()
Thanks for the heads up GregR, I'll be keeping a keen eye on the Temp...what's an acceptable Temp on the track..?![]()
Cheers,
