Cheers Tut, I will take a gerry can. Probably will drive like miss Daisy - Track day Virgin!

Dirka, How about 7.15 at the BP just south of Dundee? Do you know what time we need to be there for the briefing?

Cheers

Stuart.

Stuart

Did not realise that it was your first track session, so tongue in cheek replies do not apply.

Introduce yourself when you arrive, then I can arrange for you to come out with one of us on the warm up laps, then have someone pax with you on your warm up lap, and that way you will get the best start to driving around KH for the first time.

We plan on KH around 0800, I will be passing the BP at Dundee around 0715, so will pull in and meet up with you there.

Cheers

Forget your conceptions of any other Car Club that you may have, this is Scottish Elises.

You come along when you want, you drive in, you park next to some other Elises that you will see scattered around, you talk to any of the drivers you see hanging about, I will be the OAP with the bare feet, we go in to the Cafe for a bacon butty and the briefing, you then take your car on track, or if not you go out as a pax to see what it is all about, and then next time you take your car out if you have red blood in your veins, and you discover a new life.

That is what happened to the rest of us on here.

as Tut says...

you can come and go as you please - Even if your later than that, im sure you can sign on. theres no need for an induction for passengers and you can pretty much go anywhere you want around the track perimeters for a vantage point.
if you arrive later, then just park up and head for the pit lane...
I should be there for a lookie, so keep an eye out for my S1 Red / white stripes...

Heads up,

I've had quite a few cancellations this week due to mechanical failures and other reasons. As a result I've got 3 slots available for Saturday if anyone is interested in taking part instead of watching!

Email me with car details to john@sidc.co.uk and confirm you are OK to pay on the day (can't take card payments).

First come first served.

John

Well said that man :thumbsup SE isn't like any group of people i've met before - especially at KH normal rules don't apply - just wander up to anyone in the pitlane and say hi and within a matter of minutes you'll know half the pitlane :thumbsup

If it's a nice day I might pop up for a lookie with mrs donkey - look out for a blue VX with a short T reg plate and say hi 8)

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.
