Good heads up Cal, tis nice to see KH investing a bit of cash.
Interesting pic, the newly names Leslie's (bottom bit of Duffus to everyone else) looks like it is getting a concrete run off, this would be a massive improvement to the gravel and perma-bog that is Knockhills run off areas, much more likely to slow you down and less chance of digging in a rolling.
And a pit shed-soon to be garages-maybe for spectators. Hope it's ready for Sat

Classic road/re-surfacing works picture - 10 guys standing around and just one working away with his shovel !
Has the guy working the machine on the left got a bit carried away because he is working at Knockhill ? It looks like he has just done a handbrake turn going by the skid marks and dropped the rear wheel on the grass !

Was that not the work that was done a couple of years ago?

They resurfaced the track a couple of years ago. Looks like ongoing improvements although I don't know why they didn't fix some of the bumps then.

It'll all be down to tight cashflow.
KH have made steady alterations in the last few years, many of them related to keeping BTC there etc. And I note the latest smoothing may be to improve biker safety, no bad thing that.

If it means later braking then I am happy ! Some of the bends on the Nordschleife were resurfaced last year and the difference in grip between old and new sections was incredible.
See you Sat folks - just been packing all my camcorder gear, oil, tools etc. Heading straight from work tomorrow for an overnighter in GLA before the dawn assault to KH - have done a fair few track days @ KH before but always with a daily runner. This will be the first time in my DKT ( Dedicated KH Toy

)
Please say howdy if you clap eyes on me.....

That's fine Matt, see you around 0600.
No bad thing if they take out the ridge half way up the pit straight on the right, will not miss the kick sideways in the wet. However I hope that they do not girlify it too much, I thought that the flat blue kerbs especially with the netting after the Chicane and Clarks, meant that cars could go right off track on the other side of the cones and get away with it.

Kenny, I don't see you on the list emailed by John. Have you booked?

Says you are taking the SLR, is that right Mass, or are you waiting to see what the weather does?

It will be 100% CR as the SLR is still off-road.
SLR will come out to play next month

Great combination of tyres for me.
Looking at the weather forecast, I have taken the Maxsports off the back and put the used Stunner Scudos on, with worn 888's on the front.
The sort of combination that McApe would love.
