Sounds good Pete. Remember check in closes at 16:15 so you may want to leave slightly earlier in case there's any hold ups.

A68 over Soutra then the Coldstream road I think is faster.

That said I won't even be collecting my car until Saturday noon then I need to return home and pick up me stuff, so you may want to head off without me or face the stressful run down to the ferry against the clock (I have no desire to beat my personal record achieved after an impromptu last minute clutch change - see Frolics passim).

P.S. just checked - my house to the ferry is 112 miles so 2.5 hours approx - thus for a 16:15 arrival I need to have left at 13:00 according to suck-my-balls-google ... so I might try to get Katie to run me over to Craigs on Saturday so I can take my bag, helmet, etc., and leave straight from there. If you're up for it, be at Craig's by 12:30 for a 3 hour banter session followed by a banzai run down to Newcastle :-)

3 hours at Craig's from half 12 means you miss the ferry.

Happy to leave at 1pm of go earlier so I can ask them to wait for you and Pete who clearly haven't left enough time to get there.

From experience where I almost missed it with a minor hold up on the way down.

Gutted i'm stuck in shetland just now. Would have loved a boys trip to Spa. Home on wednesday just slightly too late
