:thumbsup brakes arrived and fitted. Guy who collects the last Friday post dropped them off at my office 4 pm, above and beyond call of duty, I am impressed with Banchory Royal Mail. Phase 1 (slow bit) of bedding in procedure complete, a brisk early morning run over Cairn should complete the process.

I managed to make it up by about 10.30. Great weather, couldn't have got a better day for it. Some awesome cars too. Wondered what the Fiesta whatever it was coming out of the garage was gonna do and it was feckin awsome. :thumbsup Nice Fezza and GT3 too. 350Z awesome note going up the main straight. And not to mention all the Loti! Big thumbs up to the guy in the white Evo EKZ**** i think it was, for the entertainment each time he came round the hairpin sideways!!! Could see the smile on his and pax face. :thumbsup

Nice chatting to Blaque and Captain Slow at the pit wall too.

Clark, sorry i missed you. Saw your car when i first arrived then never saw it again. Thanks again for offering to take me down.

Thanks to Ali Crozier who took me too Murrays for my car and also gave me some great track tips on the way. Just need to see if i can put them into practice now.

"Tut, were you driving today? I never really saw you apart from on the way home?"

I took Clark's car down for him, bog standard S2 Elise, so that he could get his first track day in. I drove it for the first few laps so that he could break himself in, then he took it over for the rest of the morning. I just took it out once to give a few pax a ride and remind myself of what a standard car felt like, and it acquitted itself very well.

He has now gone off to Turkey on holiday so I am looking after it for him.

Thanks to John for organising another great day. :thumbsup It was nice to catch up with folks and I got some good sessions. The weather was kind but too :D There seemed to be quite a high attrition rate among the Caterhams though
