Gonna have to get one of those silly little cars. :)
I thought the same after the last Brunty KH event, where I went from Driving in Ed's exige to then Thinforth & Gordon's 7's. Bloody awesome cars!

Big thanks to John again. I think this was one of the best track days I have done at KH.

Might have been because my car felt great and no one passed me all day.

Got these vids off of SIDC forum. Good for timing you laps  . My times are in the 63's -64's.

Went to Perth for lunch on the way home then up to pitlochry to see a friend and then over Glenshee. Was really pushing hard with no traffic on the road coming up the south side of Glenshee nice dry sunny evening (5.30). Just as I came over the hill at Glenshee to see massive black clouds, Within 2 minutes the rain was so hard that the road was completely flooded. I had to pull over as the 38's were just aqua plaining even at 10 mph. I then had to try and put the Tonneau cover on from the inside and hide under it. By the time I got this done everything inside the car including myself was totally soaking. The heavy rain lasted for about half an hour, I was not fussed and still had a grin on my face.

The joys of having a 340r?

I overtook you when you reversed off at the hairpin... ;)

(I had your brother on board and we'd went through 2 laps worth of blue flags so thought I'd better let you past into the hairpin.) :D

Ok apart from that.

I came in after that and the guy in the box said " after all that hard work to get passed, you went and spun"

I had to laugh, little did he know I was playing around?

Did not realise that anybody else was using Stunners. Are they the same as mine Ed, ie the top of the range Scudos(sic)?

Scotty

In the dry I thought you would have been lapping more in the 61-62 sec range.

If yours was the 340R up at Brunty's event at the start of Aug, you were going a little quicker than 63-64. I only managed 12 laps in the VX (my first with Nitrons, A048s and The Wing!), but I recorded two 60 sec laps and a 61 sec just before the hose parted company from the turbo at the hairpin. I was inching up on a 340R chasing down one of the Exiges at the time.
Red VX220 Turbo - slightly modified :-)

was a superb day! thanks John S :)

really really enjoyed driving the track.

went the quickest ive ever gone i think - had confidence to go fast into duffus and the next tighter right hander :)

had fun following other SE_ers :)

np about the pass on the right :P I was going slow coz they had yellow flags out - was still slower out of the hairpin coz saw the lights and flags there - but no incident and then noticed no lights on the bridge. Was it just me, or did they flag the entire circuit if there was an off somewhere?

thanks to my 2 passengers :) was fun having u on board!

Look forward to the next one :)

Cheers

I managed into the 62's on Mexitowers according to Donalds vid cam, so I would have thought you would be 60 secs at least.

Was there definitely yellows out? If so I completely missed them
