http://www.destination-nurburgring.com/ ... y-oct-2012

Those doing the Nurburgring trackday need to be there mid afternoon Sunday.
(btw the attendee list looks interesting!)

Not confirmed yet but think I have a Touch tournament in Newcastle on the Saturday. Handy for the Newcastle ferry you'd think but I wouldn't make the Sat check-in so would probably mean a schlep down south somewhere - chunnel and onward to Nurburg the Sunday...sheesh, never easy.

So provisionally I'd be:
Sunday night Nurburg (probably Burgstrube)
Monday trackday then onwards to Spa (La Source?)
Tue & Wed at Spa (still at La Source).
Thursday back to Blighty...

Sounds like a plan, I dont mind which way out, just the ferry is less driving , but more time. Works out about the same cost (but for the ferry, you also need to add drinking and food money.....about £120!!!!)

Guys,

Last time I was at Spa I stayed at a hunting lodge 10 min from the circuit.

Rooms were basic (think youth hostel) but the people were great and good bar, good breakfast, and hot showers...it was about 35 euro's! Let me know if anyone wants the details.

I havn't booked anything for this trip yet but planning to stay at Burgstube for the ring, doing the Friday TF two hours if weather ok and decide about the TD on the day.

Taking the Frog although the vhpd has already been in pieces on my garage floor - hgf
