Do not know where you are in the NE but I have a part worn set of 07's in the garage you could have had for the day....

martins, very kind offer, but i should be OK. I need a set anyway, so will be getting new boots 30 minutes before the trackday, might a slow hour to start to get it scrubbed. Whats the bed in time for AD07s, or can i use them from the off?

Spoke to John S yesterday, so looks like we may well see the viper on the track :) although Pete (viper owner) hasnt spent any time in Scotland and is heading back to London with the car after the track day. I was thinking about driving down via Ballater down the old military road about 0530, i know you are all going the A96, but is anyone interested in the scenic route? I feel the need to take the tourist that way down, should be a good introduction as to how good scotland can be...

edit, I am in Insch/Inverurie direction.

Fully understand the scenic route requirement. Would do so myself but I have a body coming from the Chapel of Garioch as a pax and we both need our beauty sleep so will be heading down the A90.

As for AD07's. I have had a couple of sets and have never bedded them in as have always taken out on the road first and I am not that great a track fiend anyway....

Will see you down there.

For those that are going tomorrow it looks like the weather might be 'nice'. Dry, Sunny and temp in double figures from the off (0900). Unheard of forecast....see here

http://www.myweather2.com/Motor-Racing/ ... spx?sday=1

....Looking at a track Temp come noon in excess of 20 degrees (Centigrade that is..not Farenheit as would be the norm). The tyres on my car have never seem such balmy KH track temps before.

And for those who are not going to be there....tough....

And for those who are not going to be there but are going to Frolic....Fcuk right off..... :chainsaw
