I could possibly have my arm twisted to head to the Ring from Charade for maybe one day ...

Cheers,
Robin

So whats the thinking then - have we made a call on this?

If we do decide to skip week 2 can we decide on mass by Monday, oso i can make other plans - would love to do the ring also :D (still a ring virgin, you'll be delighted to learn!)

I'm in favour of week 2 (seeing as I have vacation days and flights booked)...

Happy to do either the 'ring or Alps.

Hi

For the last 3 years, since they launched we have used Speed Ferries for all our major trips. However, this time we have been let down as although bookings were confirmed the person dealing with them his now left and hadn’t ordered them thus we need to sort new bookings. This is a pain as with about a dozen trips like this through them in the last we thought all was ok, it now means we are going to be over budget by £30-£50 per crossing, our problem not yours!

However, so we can get these re-booked with other operators I just need some more information and we will now be looking at a mixture of crossings via Sea France, P&O, Norfolk Line and Speed Ferries depending on the day and time of your crossings.

I already have the original times you all requested (attached) but it would help to know the following:-

1. Car Type

2. Car Registration

3. Passenger name – if any

4. Preferred crossing time if different from the attached – we will obviously get as close as possible to this.

5. Who else you are travelling with (I’ve marked those who I know are together on the attached)

On crossings if you can travel in a bigger window please let me know as this will help us.

Not sure about you guys but im thinking Hotel in Charade on the Sat night. Sunday drive to the ring and get on track until it closes. Then hit the bar, long lie on Monday. Ring in the afternoon and then head towards the ferry either that evening or Tuesday morning. What do y'all think?!
cheers Ed

I'm in for a couple of extra days at the ring, but no full week for me.

I am good for spending Monday at the ring, but will need to make an early start of it on Tuesday (or even a headstart on Monday night) as I want to be back over the channel before noon on the Tuesday.

I am just waiting on Kelvin to confirm what he's up to as our travel arrangements are interlinked.

Cheers,
Robin
