my plant is shutting down the week before, so i will be out of (car) action for about 5 to 6 weeks.

i would have loved to do it

Heard back from CCI. They'll cover this event. I asked for a quote to cover half the value of my car. Quote to cover £12.5k was £126, with a £2.5k excess (always 10% of vehicle value :shock: )

Will have a wee think this afternoon and let you know tonight. Thanks for the advice on the other thread . . . I think it would be a good first trackday, so it's likely I'll be coming along. :D Just need to work out the finances.

Okay . . . Dezzy's first trackday here we come . . . :shock: :? :D 8) :twisted: Paul, I'll drop you an email about paying deposit. Do they do helmet hire like KH do?

I checked AA route finder and it says about 3.5hours journey time back to Glasgow, so I'll need to head off around 3 - 4pm to make the gig I'm going to that night.
