my plant is shutting down the week before, so i will be out of (car) action for about 5 to 6 weeks.

i would have loved to do it

Heard back from CCI. They'll cover this event. I asked for a quote to cover half the value of my car. Quote to cover £12.5k was £126, with a £2.5k excess (always 10% of vehicle value

)

Will have a wee think this afternoon and let you know tonight. Thanks for the advice on the other thread . . . I think it would be a good first trackday, so it's likely I'll be coming along.

Just need to work out the finances.

Paul, I'll drop you an email about paying deposit. Do they do helmet hire like KH do?

I checked AA route finder and it says about 3.5hours journey time back to Glasgow, so I'll need to head off around 3 - 4pm to make the gig I'm going to that night.
