A good day again John. Please PM the detail for me to send the cheque.

Shattered after 140+ laps and more than 20 pax runs

The SLR is a nice drift machine and today, I've managed to run faster than the CR.

Still a few more seconds to gain though.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Great day! I really enjoyed my car today too, especially as the track dried out.

Also good to put a few more faces to names.

Gareth, the 340R was going great right enough, you were driving it very well and I was impressed with passengers laps even tho you'll find my finger nail marks under your passenger seat from the 'moment' heading in to the hairpin. :)

Mass, you are some man for pax laps, have you ever thought about endurance events??!!

Nope, it's staying for now. The following all sounds very gay but I really think I clicked with the 340R today. Previous trackdays I felt like I was always fighting it but today I felt like I had loads of grip..almost 7 like. I'm working on another track toy to run along side the 340R ;)

Chris, it was a moment when I thought my luck was out. I just envisaged lots of smashed carbon and fibre glass everywhere. Thundering down to the hairpin not much over 100mph, braked, slammed into 3rd, rears locked, squirmed all over the road and I was running out of the blackstuff. Managed to correct it and a big sigh of relief....maybe my sig is right afterall ;)

Felt pretty weird without the regulars. Mr Boag, where were you?

Shifting ten tons of surplus sandstone around the garden Gareth!

Will get back into the trackdays with the GMSC one at KH on Thursday ....and nothing planned until the Still Game mini tour (or should that be tourette!!)to Anglesey and Oulton

Gareth
I'ts not gay to stick with the 340R and learn to drive it........you would soon get fed up of every bugger passing you in your proposed Subaru....especially immaculately driven S1's

Cheers , mostly just understeered at the hairpin due to my lack of skill. Was sideways everywhere else at times . :D

John,

Thanks yet again fro a great day, despite the odd touch of Knockhill damp. First trackday this year and really reminded me what I'd missed earlier in the year.

Thanks to mass and tut for the pax laps :cheers Surprised at how much grip and traction those cars had considering the track conditions.
