Hi Mags,

i've been in touch with Fee with regards to our team and she has sent the following :
Hi Ollie

Thanks for the email, great news that you can get a team together.

If you are able to pay via paypal, that would be preferable (I have already settled up with Xtreme).
You can pay individually (£35) or one payment for the full team (£175).
Paypal address is fee@trackscotland.co.uk (marked as personal and a gift to avoid fees).
If we can sort out our own payments, that would be best i think.

As i understand Ian is trying to get another 2 folk for the team to make up the 5 with your son and myself.

Cheers,
Olie

How do we work each shift then, do you just have a set amount of laps or time and then come in and change or is there a set number of changes, say twice each?

I'm not entirely sure....I'm sure Xtreme will give us a full briefing on how it works when we get there though

Just to confirm, the briefing will start at 7pm, so it would be good if people can aim to arrive at 6.30 to get signed on / discuss team tactics, etc.

We still have spare spaces, so if anyone wants to come along and join a team, please do

See you all tomorrow evening

Thanks to the Xtreme Karting team for a great night, one of th best/most organised events i've been to.

Started with a qualifying session which I managed to get fastest lap and put us on poll. I lost 2 places in the second corner due to a dodgy overtake that put me in the barriers. Managed to get back up to second where we sat for most of the night with only a few 10ths between our teams times. We decided to do more stops which cost us 2 laps and finished in 4th place.

Great fun, with some seriously fast Katers there (proper karters) and only one dirty b*stard but the guys at Xtreme Karting were quick to sort him out. Highlight of the day for me was getting a 20.86 with the fastest time being 20.81 set be an ex karting champion :D .

Cheers
Alan

Fee - A friendly sugestion if you're doing the same next year. Ensure a minimum number of pit stops to give the teams with more people a chance on the podium. :thumbsup
