I think the prospects of being overtaken by his old car will keep him off this one!

My car wont be ready from Dans till Friday, so I will probly be picking it up on Saturday. I said to Ed I would see him on Saturday, and had half a chance of being "let out to play" by Lesley.
Still dont like the idea of the tyres on the track though. I wonder if the insurance companies would pay up if you caught one... (I have AON track day cover). Essentialy the venue is approved for the insurance side because its built to a standard. I remember having a discussion about not getting insurance for Craill as it wasnt to a set standard...
At what point do they go outwith the standard with stick tyres all over the place.
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

On another insurance related note, it seems my insurer has now decided that KH as a venue is not up to set standard (by way of the marshalling), and withdrawn any cover for Track days until investigated......................yep you guessed it, the Hot hatch footage thats splattered all over the net.
KH need to get their act together, as its getting them the wrong type of publicity and its putting people off.

Yeah - He said that at the HM afternoon.
Where they are positioned isn't a huge issue. They are there to stop folk seriously cutting the corners.
He actually had a chat with a few of us to get our feed back.
There's one at the bottom of the dip to stop folk from using excessive kerb on the outside of the track - no worries there.
There's one at the entrance of the chicane (but not the exit) - again no major issues as things normally go pear shape beyond the apex.
The last one is on the inside of clarkes - again most cars tend to spin out and well after the apex.
They are just there to make folk drive round the corners and not over the top of them - don't worry - they are fine.

I'm not happy about them being there and if it continues I won't be going to KH anymore and I'll spend the cash going to a few places down south instead.
