Guys,

Last time I was at Spa I stayed at a hunting lodge 10 min from the circuit.

Rooms were basic (think youth hostel) but the people were great and good bar, good breakfast, and hot showers...it was about 35 euro's! Let me know if anyone wants the details.

I havn't booked anything for this trip yet but planning to stay at Burgstube for the ring, doing the Friday TF two hours if weather ok and decide about the TD on the day.

Glad to hear you got the car fixed Frank. At least it let go here, and not just as you arrived at the ring / spa.

Thinking booking hotels might be a good shout. Any decent ways to book la source?

I've emailed Golding about this as he had a deal rate last time - I think it was 100 euros for a single and 115 for a twin/double. Booking online's showing 126 euros single and 142 twin/double at the moment. Will report back when I hear back from him.

Makes sense. I'll be taking the Newcastle ferry on the way out. Possibly going back via Norfolk though so looking at Hook of Holland to Harwich as an option.

I am not booked on at the ring, but was planning some pax laps, or car share action.

I didnt plan on getting there till lunchtime, straight off the ferry, anyone else planning the same?

I was also going to go with Neil after Spa, and have a trip round the factory.

The last time I checked the ferry, it was working out quite good booking a 3 bed suite, not to much more, but looked a lot better
