Cadwell or Oulton?

Discuss

Will be heading to Englandshire on relative visiting round with family during tattie holidays and plan to take Exige along. I want to use the opportunity get in a trackday when we are in the South. I've identified Cadwell on Friday 26th Oct or Oulton on 27th Oct (MSV) as likely options.
Have been to Cadwell with Ultima and liked it, I think it would suit Exige. Never been to Oulton. Any opinions?? Cadwell is a bit more remote but that's not really a factor.
(Don't say do both, although I an tempted)

Tattie Holidays?!!!

Oh and my advice is do both! :P Having only done Oulton in my younger days, it was ace, but the LOT guys will probably know best and Cads seems to get a good write up from those that have done it.

There's also Cadwell with LoT, Tue 30th Oct, OPL (for £99)
I'm booked!

Both tracks great though and hard to choose between the 2. Cadwell just edges it for me...

That's my point, you should know what they are ;)

It's the first 2 weeks in October, the schools usually have them off and they're known as the tattie holidays because people used to go and pick tatties.

Indeed, and I can remember doing just that 30 odd years ago. But nowadays I suppose tatties are gathered by large machines.

both are awesome - I'd do Oulton but I've only been there for a TD and 1 race have done 3 td's at Cadwell now.

Can't go wrong with either - think Cadwell might get the majority verdict.

Check that its the full circuit at Oulton though

International Circuit at Oulton with MSV, open pit lane. I'm leaning towards this just because I've not been there before. I'd certainly like to do Anglesey too, but nothing on that week as far as I know.
MSV are at Cadwell on 21st too I see so......buy 2 get 1 free??
Warm up at KH on 19th on way down. Seems like a plan.

I fancy a crack at Oulton Park as well. Promised I would head south this year and never quite got there.

Anyone else up for this?

Oulton every time! 8)

Cadwell is good fun and a challenge but Oulton is the best track in the country. :)

OK, knew it would go this way really - booked Cadwell on 21st Oct and Oulton on 27th Oct with MSV :D .
Any other SE folk going along let me know and I'll look out for you.
Now need to contemplate tyre choice for KH evening, 2 full day trackdays and probably 2000 miles of public road use in 8 days. My 048s are fairly new and should last the distance, but given time of year, perhaps better to fit something more appropriate for extreme wet conditions.
