ADMC trackday

Post by tut » Fri Oct 26, 2007 11:42 am

This is only for info now as it is fully booked.

ADMC (Aberdeen & District Motor Club) are one of the Clubs that lay on the Scottish Sprint & Hillclimb Chamionships. Once a year they lay on a Fun trackday at KH for Competitors, any Club Members etc, so a good mix of cars and experienced drivers

Its an all day event on Sunday 28th Oct at only £70, so I phoned to see if there were places left for any drivers on here that may be interested.

However it is now fully booked, but as they remember me from 2005 they have squeezed me in.

If anybody local to KH is interested though, there could be places available on the day because of drop outs, and also mechanical failures as it is an all day event. You do not have to be a Club Member, it is available for the day at £5.

I'll come along tut. Just arrived back in Aberdeen this morning.
Who did you speak to - can they squeeze me in (with my reputation!). :D

I need some practice in the shed before Cadwell on Tuesday...

btw, saw your old mate Jock Stirrup on the TV the other night!

Went to see this last year and it was wild stuff  Overtaking both sides and outbraking into corners etc. I think this was the one where a Skyline went straight on at the hairpin after brake failure and left the circuit in several '00 pieces.

Tut & Ali, you'll be fine

Jolly good Ali.

Call Graham or Janet on 01674 840419.

Not done a no holds barred session for ages, so should be interesting. Pity though that N1 is still not original, would have been ideal for that sort of day.

ps pathetic excuse Don...........

pss if anybody has a bullet type camera that I could stick on the car it could be entertaining as I have never tried one before.

psss especially for overtaking Don in 3D Cinematic widescreen colour, but unfortunately he is not going to be on track.

Clark

Track time is 0900-1500, pax seat reserved for you.

Unfortunately they are charging £25 for passengers, and although the drivers cost is low for a whole day session, I do not agree with this.

Will see if I can get around it for you.

Great day yesterday thanks to Tut and Ali for the pax's.

There was a varied collection of machinery from Nova's and Fiesta's to a full groupB S1 rally quattro in works colours. Looked better than it went though :?

N3 TUT is an amazing car. The supercharger gives it masses of grunt but it's very smooth power delivery compared to my 111R where you are pushing to get on the 2nd cam all the time on track. Well apart from when Tut changes into 5th on the main straight in the wet and it goes sideways

The 'shed' is amazing for 100k miles. It shows how good these cars are. You don't need to spend a fortune to get a quick car.
