Donington Park GP 29/3/08

29-3-2008

To tie in with the Lotus Show at Donington Park we have again been able to secure a track day on the saturday of the show.

This day will be on the full GP circuit which adds 0.5 mile to the national we normally run.

We will be offering pax laps to try and help Club Lotus raise money for charity but will make this more organised than last year. If you would be happy to do a couple of stints of maybe 3 laps with a passenger please post in the relevant column and we will work out the best way to do this. Even if it's just 1 session it's a bonus.

This day is not suitable for Beginner drivers - please ensure you have done at least 2 t/days before attending.

Directions & Accomodation: HERE
Length: 2.50 miles
Noise limit: 98db DRIVE BY
Format: open pit lane
Price: £160 until 1/12 then £180
Instruction: £10 for first place (£15 for additional slots and on the day)
Crash Helmets: £20

Driving licenses = you must bring a full license which will be checked at sign on

Final instructions will be emailed out 5 days before the event

You can pay for the event in the lot shop here - http://www.lotus-on-track.com/lotshop/

Anyone up for this again, last year was epic.

Well. Always a good excuse for a nice drive across Englandshire, right enough. This from last year's run home for me...

Too early to say if I can commit to 2008 just yet, but am interested.

And - dare I say it - if I *do* go, I might be persuaded to set up the Curry again at 4550 Miles from Delhi...although I think I will encourage you all to do your own internet bookings for the hotel this time ;-)
