SIDC Dates for 2008

Post by JohnStewart » Thu Nov 22, 2007 3:08 pm

After some extended negotiations I've managed to secure the following dates at Knockhill for our track events in 2008:

Saturday 15th March, 1pm to 5pm

Saturday 17th May, 9am to 1pm

Saturday 28th June, 9am to 1pm

Saturday 30th August, 9am to 1pm

We also plan to have one around October again, but the dates can't be confirmed just yet.

Bad news is that track hire costs have increased by about 10% again (mostly due to increased insurance), but there's nothing we can do about this.

Cheers Ross - perhaps you can get the year right in the title as well, unlike me ;)

Epic stuff John

Do you sell vouchers on SIDC for use against the trackdays?

Would save me getting lots of f***ing useless Xmas presents this year if you do ;0)

Gutted i missed Saturday - so much so I brought the Atom to work today - tremendous fun - an enjoyable drive to the office - whatever next!

We haven't thought about selling vouchers, but I'm sure they could be made available if there wa a market for them ?

What denominations would people buy ?

£10, £20, £50, £100, season ticket for all events :D

The denominations mentioned would be fine john, then used to offset the cost of a TD

Shame I'd be starting with (cough) negative equity

Sounds like a good idea to me...

Dear Santa, thanks for the lovely stuff you left me yesterday. Its amazing how many socks you actually need to get through the year, only I've just heard of another great prezzie idea called a track-day voucher from SIDC. Not wanting to sound ungrateful or anything but how about I return ALL the socks, etc and you give me a voucher. I'll even be very good for the rest of the year and not be sick on the carpet...again.

thanks

Jonathan
