Glenrothes Car Club Tracknights

Post by Andy G » Thu Apr 03, 2008 1:23 pm

Hi Chaps

Got this email from Lock at Glenrothes with their trackevenings for the year.

Were good value last year and a good mix on machinery.

i know prices have gone up this year, but i will advise when they let me know what the cost is.

Anyone fancy it?

Andy

Just had the same email. I will hope to do as many as possible. The only slight snag I see is that the June one is the night before the SIDC one. Not sure if the wallet could take that!

Hopefully there will be a SAROC one sometime soon, but have yet to here.

Does anyone know if there are places available on this event? How does one book? 5 May is my birthday - it would be rude not to.....

Sent an email to Lock about the single seater and whether it would be reappearing.....I got a fairly grumpy reply.....I've replied trying to explain that I wasn't stirring......I also await a reply to the question!

think that might be because i sent the same email.

In a nutshell he doesnt know as the chap with the single seater hasn't confirmed his attendence yet.

Have to say with so many good tracknights on offer, I'd rather support trackday scotland or someone similar for a night event.

SIDC certainly top the weekend events :thumbsup

Trying to decide whether to do this or not (booked for SIDC also). Not too keen on single seater stoppages and certainly not for the final 10mins of the session. What I'll probably do is take the car to work tomorrow and decide in the afternoon. The weather forecast is hardly conclusive. I was thinking of doing the GMSC night if it were to be dry and the SIDC wet.

I have a feeling it will be quiet tomorrow evening due to poor organisation the last time.

I have re-read the email I sent him......I think it is clear that I was just asking prior to attending!
I did seem to get both barrells from him though!
I don't know if I'm going to go now......I will wait and see what his reply is......and I'll let y'all know about the single seater asap!
