Hi guys
Glenrothes car club is having a track night. Just got the details now.
£60 per car to get on track
£10 per extra driver
Suspect the briefing to be at 5.15/5.30 for a 6pm start.
Have done a few of these now and driving standards are good in general. KH are enforcing pretty much that all over taking is done on the 3 main straights and you must pass on the left this year.
I'm up for this one, as its time to go and scalp uncle Rons mi-16 again
So who's in? (please note, all admin side is being done on the night by GCC) ;
1. Andy G
2. Uncle Ron

Andy,
Did you get an email with booking details? I emailed Lock on Friday night but have heard nothing.

I might be up for that, but will leave decision till I see what the weather is like . (Still drying out after last Friday night!!)
Is it likely to be booked up in advance?

I would think that is unlikely. The date was only released just over a week ago and I have yet to receive a confirmation of the event (I am a member of the club). Also the one I was at last year was pretty quiet.

Knockhill Track Nights
A reminder that there is less than a week to go till our first track night of 2008, on Monday 5th May.
Ideal opportunity for a bit of tar testing before the Jim Clark, or a wee run for the sponsor and service crew,
or just for the hell of it.
Signing on 5:30, on track from 6 to 8pm; we usually run open pit lane format.
Road cars, track cars, rally cars, race cars, shopping cars all welcome.
No competition licence required, but you must produce a full current road driving licence.
As you probably know, Knockhill have ratcheted the price up again a fair whack.
After much discussion, we have decide to set the prices for this session at £60 for car and first driver,
and £10 for additional drivers sharing the same car.
Passengers free, but must sign on to be covered by insurance.
Crash helmets must be worn; Knockhill have some for hire.
Other nights booked for this year:
27th June 2008
29th July 2008
4th September 2008

I wasn't going to book up....I have a driving licence but DVLA have it......I was wanting to know if that would be a problem....hence email or phonecall......don't want a wasted journey!
You see?
