Hot Marques on Sunday

Post by tut » Sat May 31, 2008 1:07 am

Many of the regulars would have received e-mails regarding this extra Hot Marques day, but Stuart Gray rang me to say that is on in conjunction with the TruckMania day.

The track session is from 1330-1530 at £55, and anybody who books in will also receive two free tickets for the event worth £20.

It looks like being a low number on track for those that like it that way, only 18 booked in so far.

Jolly good, I was just talking to Stuart, and if I had my car, I would come down myself.

The weather is looking good, and it should be a great family day out apart from the track session, as there are a lot of events on that are not mentioned on the website.

Dont forget that if you book on, then you get free entry plus two free tickets to the show. This is for pre-booking, but if you just turn up on the day to go on track, ask the gate to contact Stuart Gray and tell him that you are one of tut's S_E Group.

Got a rare weekend pass so might do this - forecast now looking a bit dodgy all of a sudden however, so will check am. Don't think I'll make the trek down if wet.

After the first 5 laps the heavens opened and we all got very very wet.

I managed to spin twice at the hairpin (in front of a packed "stand") by locking the drive up on the way in.

A good few 7's and far too few elises (only 2 exiges).

Us 7'ers have a good time - I didn't get do many laps due to having a car set for the dry - but still enjoyed myself.

My first day out on track in the 7 and it was lashing down.

Only had one off plus a lot of side ways scares but really enjoyed the session the drive back on the other hand was unpleasant to say the least. Learned a lot about the caterham today so I should be quicker next time round

6 sevens and only 2 exiges :whip
