Ladies Track Night - Knockhill 1st July 6 - 8 pm

Post by Karen » Sat Jun 14, 2008 8:44 am

Following on from the thread "Track Etiquette, letting the slow guys back in" and us girls wanting to get out on track, and as per the Knockhill Website, (see the info below), I called this morning and they have confirmed the following:

There are usually around 30 cars per session - so far they have 29 spaces available!!! If it keeps going at this pace, it could just be us!

The bikes will be on track for say 20 minutes, then come in and the cars will then go out for 20 minutes and come in.

Cost is £45.00

Official Info taken from their website:

Ladies Car & Bike Tracknight
Tue 1st July
6pm - 8pm

For LADIES ONLY!

This is the perfect tracknight for all ladies with a car or bike! There will be 2 sessions with Bikes out on track for the first session.

A full safety briefing will be given at 5.45pm.

Ladies, booking is available at http://www.knockhill.com/trackdays/trackday.php

Get yourselves booked on and let's see if we can have a SE girls tracknight. Post up once you've booked.

Yo girls.

Good call - though maybe want to have this in the Trackdays sub-forum?! With my newfangled moderator powers, I may be able to move this for you if you like :-)

Great to see you getting into it. I shall try to come over to cheer you all on and get some pics.

I will also see if Lisa fancies a shottie! She's been out on track once or twice before and certainly enjoyed it but like other didn't want to hold up others or be intimidated. Watch this space...

Maybe we could hire a school girls outfit for Dodgy Dave, but then again, as he is hassling Kenny nowadays, maybe not.

So now that we have a few of us signed up, who is going to be our "expert" in the passenger seat on the night to tell us what we are doing wrong? (is there any man brave enough out there who wants to tell a woman she has got something wrong)??? :D

Mandys talking about coming up but not driving (not enough track time for her) - not that she proclaims to be an expert.

Think i might sign Lynda up for this too as she feels intimated on track times :thumbsup

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.
