Jason over on Scottish Sevens (the red superlight which was there in March

) posted the following which may or may not be of interest...
I have already vented my anger over there, so will just post his quote
Got a bit of insider chit chat during the car's MOT test this am, concerning the East Fortune prolems.
Reportedly, it's one local resident who complained (lives right next to the circuit). Same person has also complained about the bike racing (which has been there decades!) and.... the noise from the GNER trains passing too ::)
Melville Club is working on it I was told

Over on Jock7, the chubby Dundonian in a Snot-green (but also very manky) Cateringvan wrote:Seriously, if this doofus is complaining about the feckin TRAINS! then that dilutes any argument he/she/it may have ???
Errr, wasn't there a railway line when you moved, you scumbag?
Wasn't there a racing circuit, or previous to that, a bloody airfield with eff-off noisy 'planes taking off?
Killjoys like this REALLY make me angry
Is it possible to moderate yourself?

We get exactly the same, they view the house at a weekend right in Reheat Alley, them move in over a few weekends then complain when we do 2 weeks of night flying, takeoff at 11pm landing at 3am.
"No one told me!"
Some people eh?
Best one I have heard of is Conningsby, while it has been quiet while eurofighter is built (5 or so years...

) they built a housing estate outside the camp gates around 500m from the runway. You think these buggers here are noisy, try a Typhoon at full bore!
Which bit of living next to an airfield/racetrack did you think would be a good idea?:scratch

they worse than my old fav the Avro Vulcan? Used to see it at the airshow and the noise nearly made me vomit!
IIRC, a woman tried to sue the Edinburgh Tatoo people for nuisance after moving into a house nearby...surprisingly, she lost

Hmmm the mighty V force....
They aren't far of getting one of those buckets of bolts to fly again soon. Awesome power! The noise is different (IIRC, Vulcans havent flown for nearly 20 years!) it's harsher and raspier, the Vulcan was deep and rumbly (think Janspeed vs Larini) still feckking loud!

I was at its last flight at Leuchars, sure it was 10 or so years ago, what a blooming noise
