LOT Croft & KH Track Weekend July 18-20 - Croft cancelled
Posted: Tue Nov 18, 2008 6:31 pm
Tis early days yet, but will now get this rolling as a follow on from my last posting below.
I have set up the Database at http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/tuttowers/database so feel free to fill in details just to show interest. I will amend the headings if necessary.
"This is the latest situation. I will now set up a new thread under Trackdays. Also as I am already set up for this sort of thing, it maybe a good idea to put up a Database under the tuttowers Yahoo group, most of you are members anyway, to get the ball rolling. There is no commitment at this stage, and booking will probably be through LOT, but it will give us an idea of local interest.
This way I can gauge interest from S_E, which will give Paul an idea of how many sign ups from LOT that he needs. Tis the middle of Summer, combined with one of KH's biggest weekends of the year, rock bottom prices, brilliant company, what more could a guy or lassie want?

"Hi Paul
Just come off the phone to Stuart Gray who is MD of KH, and I have got Monday, 20th July provisionally booked for us.
Even better, it is one of KH’s biggest weekends of the year as it is their Classic Speedfair event. This is the one that I organised last year with KH and Lotus Hethel for the 60th Anniversary, where I got together the largest collection of Lotus’s ever assembled in Scotland. They had the first showing of the Jim Clark 25 Elise on the Sunday, and I also got two 20 mins track sessions for S_E and Club Lotus on the Sunday. They are also coming back up this year with their Roadshow again.
It went down so well that he would like to include us again this year if it fits in with the timetable, which means on the Sunday we would have our own assembly and show area for as many cars as we could muster, around 110 last year, and a possible 20 min track session for 35.
Early days yet, but it is looking good. Saturday Croft, Sunday we do as we wish with, Monday KH and kick crap out of the English<BG>
Cheers

Hi tut
Sorry I missed this..
Price is good just to get dates..
Unfortunately most circuits haven't confirmed dates, the best one that might tie in at the moment is -
Saturday 18/7 - Croft - confirmed
Ideal date for Knockhill as it stands..
20/7 - Monday may be very good as allows Sunday to get to knockhill from Croft
thats really it at the moment..
Regards
