Speed Sunday for a Fiver

Post by H8OAG » Tue Dec 02, 2008 8:42 pm

Ever the optimists...........KH are running a speed sunday event this sunday for £5 per entry

If I am to believe the weather forecast for thursday onwards......you will need a team of huskies to get round :D

Hiijacked from another snowy thread.......Robin said

I'm sure there was a time they were experimenting with using crystalline pig's urine as a replacement for natural salt ... it has a lower freezing point and is a fair bit cheaper (if you consider the cost of disposing of it in other ways).

Not sure about the smell though!
Went to a winter trackday (last year/two years ago ?),where KH sprayed the icy track with "Boar's Pish" .
It seemed to work but did provide a strong farmyard smell when it found its way into the front clam/radiator then vented into the car .

In the spirit of christmas.....I think we should all sign up for Sunday and take an eclectic mix of unsuitable track cars and mix it with the poor people :damnfunny
(Disco with the Air Suspension on Access setting and the box in Sportronic mode would take a bit of beating in the snow :thumbsup )

:cheers

Iain

The £5 seemed to me to be the entry fee for KH, not the track fee. That is £40 as usual.
