Walshy & Brands

Post by Scotty C » Wed Jan 21, 2009 11:27 am

I am going to be going down to do a day with Walshy on the 12th March on the airfield at North Weald and then a trackday the following day with Walshy at Brands (Full GP, they only do a few a year on the Full GP) on the 13th March.

I would be happy to share Walshy for both days if anyone wants to come.

I cannot quite think which end I would prefer less

OR

You'll already be sharing him with a sheep

Actually, I would quite fancy doing that ... need to check the calendar etc. ... will update when I get home.

Cheers,

Robin/ all

Scott (Gambler) PM'd me to say he was interested as well.

I am happy to share the day but don't really want a large group. 2 or 3 would be ideal for me?

I have e-mail Walshy asking how much he will charge for both days, will let you know when I here.

Trackday is with http://bookatrack.com/-pE @ £315 i could haggle a deal if there is 3 of us?

Haggle away my man :thumbsup

2-3 would also be ideal for me. Any more and i dont think we would get enough time with Walshy to make the journey worthwhile

Sure - whatever works - there's nothing on the calendar for then so you can count me in (until Katie tells me I'm not allowed to go - but she's lovely and I don't think that'll happen .... fingers crossed ;-)).

I'd have been up for that but for 2 reasons. 101dB limit and £315.

The MLR are there on 27th Feb albeit only the Island circuit for £159. I was tempted with that too. 8)

Enjoy and remember to report back. :thumbsup

Anybody else get a cryptic/drunken text from him after the game this weekend?

I got something like, "Wales rugby me beer". :damnfunny

Yes, I think he was so drunk/happy that he (perhaps accidentally) sent these prose to everyone in his address book :-)
