Under 18's and Helmets

Post by Scotty C » Mon Feb 23, 2009 8:49 am

From the LOT news letter.
LoT Terms and Conditions - Under 18's
The following has been added to our T&C's today: "Drivers and passengers on all UK track days must be 18 years old or over." If you have a UK booking with us and would like to cancel because of this amendment please email us by 1st March 2009 and we will issue a full refund.
We'd also like to take this opportunity to confirm our current position on crash helmets. Our FAQ and T&C's continue to recommend that helmets used on UK days meet current MSA standards. In the last few days we have received instructions covering a number of circuits that would 'potentially' make this a requirement. We have asked for clarification of this and a number of other points and will keep you informed of any changes we have to make to our T&C's.
Wonder if this will happen @ KH.

Don't mind the helmets, but the age limit would make me rethink things if KH went this way. My son is only sixteen and if he couldn’t pax there would be less fun. :(

What's the current age limit (lower!) for pax's at KH?

Friend of mine wants to take his son round and has signed up for the SIDC in March.

I think his son is 12 or so.

its actually down to height, but must be older than 8. Need to be taller than 4ft 2".

Was going to take my cousin along to hot marques if they wanted to go, but Xscape won out - i blame Uncle Ron :damnfunny

Slightly strange that seeing you can hillclimb a car at 16.

KH will be fine, although having lost 2" since I joined the Royal Marines, I will probably have problems with the height restriction soon if I break my bloody back again.
