Don't worry about the neds - they tend not to be an issue. Just don't leave the car unlocked in the paddock!

Oh, and I'm unlikely to be there duelling. Car will probably be up on ramps that weekend, having the final touches to it's spring freshen up.

i'll be there for the morning might hang around to watch the banger racing that is on afterwards.
Not taking the seven out in the afternoon with the neds not that stupid/brave. And they cone off the corners so you can't be naughty

Not sure if this is for the Top marques or chav-hatch or both. KH have been doing their best to confuse recently
Not too impressed if I have to pay another fiver plus a fiver to take any of my mates out (yes I am a cheapskate)
Might still book up though.

I will have words with Sasha. I keep saying to myself that I must cut back on KH's, but will probably go.

Unfortunately they seem to change their minds dependent on the time of the month.
There have certainly been cars on that were not worth £10k. Of course early Elises now come in at 8K, but I doubt if they would enforce that.

Booked up yesterday
New front and rear brake pads go on tomorrow, so I might have some stopping power this time
Andy from TRS is also booked on for the track debut of his new 350Z

I'm undecided as to what to do.....
The Scoobie chappies are having a 40 car strong meet so tempted to go to that. If you see a blue Clio Cup at KH then its owned by my dad. He's on his 4th track day in the last 12 months and has really got the bug
Maybe see you guys there hopefully
Cheers

I'll possibly pop along. All depends what I decide to do re my dampers. Seriously toying with the idea of slapping on a set of Nitrons (to replace my Ledas) as I'm gonna have to send the Ledas for a rebuild. If I've enot decided, then I'll probably be there for a natter.

Well who all made it onto a very wet track then?
Despite the weather I fairly enjoyed it, managed to add about 10k of road miles worth of wear to my new brake pads, still they stopped the car very quickly and with no brake fade at all
The weather certainly evens things up as well, watching the tail happy Elises was great fun.
Also had my first spin on track, had been chasing one of you for a few laps before you let me by and had set my sights on the yellow Elise in front when I think I took a bit too much kerb on the exit of the chicane and waved goodbye to the back end.
So a trip to the new sin bin .....
Whats your thoughts on that then?
With one spin in 4 trackdays I hopefully wont be visiting it too often but I am still not that keen on it.
Have read some of the comments on the yahoo group and agree with those who think its a bad idea. If it was too keep the number of red flags down then fair enough but not because KH want to keep the run off areas tidy.
Most of the spins I witnessed yesterday stayed on the tarmac anyway and were recovered under waved yellow with no damage to Knockhills precious lawn.

*Ding*
Don't really care what the idea is behind it, I'm not shelling good money to go out and drive KH like I'd drive a deserted section of B road. I go on track to find out what happens when I step over the mark (that's still only one spin in f**k knows how many hundred laps - sub-62 second laps at that)
So, if it continues, I'll not be doing HM, or any of the trackdays at KH if they insist on the rule for them all.
Effing stupid.
