How will they decide what is a race car?

Bruce Taxis are track only cars. Easiest way is tax, MOT and insurance are required and need to be produced. As for value, all S1's would be well under £15K, and most standard S2's as well. N3 would be OK due to its S/C Honda, but would be awfully lonely. What is the value of your car Kenny?

They never checked the values of the cars in the previous years. Doubt they will next year.....

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

I think if your car looks half decent, and you behave, then you'll be OK. I'm sure it's aimed at keeping the boy racers at bay.

:damnfunny Remind us how much you paid for N3 again Tut?

Wouldn't like to think how much mine would sell for it would depress me but you wont find any for less than 17k on Pistonheads. That will be my excuse.

I do wonder if they are trying to entice more supercar owners onto track with the higher minimum value?

I would imagine that there are quite a few owners of exotica who have never ever been on track before which in itself is a daunting enough experience let alone mixing it with a bunch of TD regulars in much lower valued machinery.

Haven't checked the site but no doubt the cost of the TD will be going up. Again this may actually encourage more exotica owners knowing that it will ward off a lot of the hot hatch brigade.

KH could almost start charging for spectators if they could guarantee a good turn out of hot metal/carbon fibre

Hmmm some nice scalps then.

Mine's taxed and MOT'd with full interior and could be worth £15k.

I paid just under £10K and was offered £16K the next day.

Since then it has been S/C along with a complete suspension upgrade and new top spec Nitrons, so no way that N3 is worth less than £15k here and more on the Continent as a LHD.

I would have taken that money and ran, cant believe he sold it to you for that. Still think you will be struggling for 15k, SC and suspension mods are prob worth less than half cost price when added to car value once fitted.

Anyway, not trying to piss in your chips :P I suspect it won't be too strictly enforced, especially for respected OAP's occasionally falling into gravel traps
