Silverstone GP circuit 30th March 2010

Post by Nig The Stig » Mon Jan 04, 2010 12:35 am

I'm hoping to head down to this td as it is the full GP circuit they are using.

Event being organised by circuit-days.

Cost is £249 but if we book in bulk of 5 or more cars then we get 10% off the cost of the td.

Anyone else fancy it?

Never really been that keen to do Silverstone.
LoT running full GP on the 18th if you must, less than £200.

The new Stowe looks more interesting...

Not a member on there so can't get access to it.

Is it the 18th March they're doing it?

Booked on with Circuit-days for the 30th March.

I'm getting the day free of charge as I was on a trip to Nurburgring with them last year and forgort I was due a free track day this year, saving myself a nice £250 :D

So looking forward to it, hope its dry but doubt it.

Well, the trackday was a wash out with the rain we had. It didn't close the track but did cause us to slow down somewhat. The changes they've made to the track spoil it imo. Drove the old track years ago and prefered it.

Took some pics and vid which I will put up soon.

All in all tho a good day and a real tester to see how good the car was in the wet and it didn't disappoint!

Would like to try it again in the dry so might book again for the summer months.
