I have booked a place. Kenny, if you are coming along, you could try using the data logger again.

Might take the 340 to work tomorrow and be very naughty and call it on the day and see if I can get on when I arrive.

I'd love too Mass but I only have track experience driving FE/RWD cars. Not too sure how I'd get on initially so was thinking about getting some tuition before tracking the Elise to get the old confidence up a bit first.

Very tempting though and I did bring the lotus to work just in case.....

Mark, I thought you tracked the VX before.....

The main difference you'll find coming from the 944 is that the Elise is a lot lighter and responsive. Of course these may make the car feel nervous at first but when you get used to it, they are really well balanced and easy to control, enabling you to carry a lot more speed through corners. Just make sure not to lift off going down Duffs and the downhill section before chicane. The tail will come out a lot quicker in the mid or rear engined cars. Feel what the car is doing and apply just enough steering as the car tells you to.

Best to get some instruction if that makes you feel more comfortable :thumbsup

I am more than happy to come out with you or take you out in the CR.

See you later.

ps Come on Sanjoy, you know you will enjoy it.
