Post by thinfourth » Tue Jul 25, 2006 11:45 pm

From LockH@compuserve.com

Here is a reminder that the next GMSC Knockhill Tracknight is
this week, Thursday 27th July.

Members of other clubs are welcome, so please pass
the word, tell your pals, put it on your website, write it
in your diary, mark it on your calendar, put it in your phone,
or even better, come and have a go.

On track from 6 till 8, so show up
by 5:00 or 5:30 for safety briefing
and sign on.

Road cars, track cars, rally cars, shopping cars,
repmobiles, kit cars, racing cars, all welcome.
You need a helmet, Knockhill have some for hire.
No competition licence or race overalls required,
but we hear that Knockhill have been checking for
road driving licences, so bring yours just in case.

Basic price is 40 pounds for car and driver, 20 for an
additional driver sharing same car.
Passengers free, but must sign on for insurance.

And put in on your diary or phone organiser or whatever,
the third one this year will be Wednesday 6th September.

Sadly, got too much on in the edit suite, or I'd have got out early.

From what I hear of the last one, sounds like it'd suit me down to the ground.

Gents

Only go for this one if your not too bothered about the other cars on track! It was a good laugh, but some of the driving was interesting, and the rally cars didn't care whether or not they remained on track!

Good bunch of guys though TBH, but avoid if you are nervy.

£40 is awesome though :D :D
