Awesome track - I love it to bits.

Some footage from a few years ago. Slow as hell at the beginning - it gets faster, but it's not exactly record pace...

Epic track - AMP3 day out last year I think (for me and shug :thumbsup )

how on earth did that talentless monkey manage that

To actually go all that way to miss that wall, and fluke his way across another section of the track without hitting anyone? Could have been proper carnage.

Was anyone else willing on the MX5's to leave the M3 behind :damnfunny

One of my favourite tracks, but how did he manage to lose it there?

From listening i would say he was too hard on the throttle - it looks like it slid just after a dip/bump in the track so the rear end probably went light?
(but i'm no expert)

Yup, there's a wee dip there - if you check my vid (when I'm actually carrying some pace later on) there's usually a wee bite of corrective lock where he was hard on the throttle and didn't react. Lucky boy...

Last time I was at Cadwell was the weekend of the first live aid concert

When did they knock the buildings down? Used to be my favourite FF1600 track.

Happy days

Andy, I confess to really wanting to try this track but Robin tried to talk me out of it because it's such a looooong way from anywhere and apparently a real draaaaag to get there!

But I could be persuaded...there's a PremierInn at Grimsby, 20 miles north of the circuit, and several camp sites within striking distance. So whilst I know Robin likes the Blitzkreig stylee (blast in, deliver payload, blast off home again!), I am not getting any younger and need a lot more sleep than Baron Vonn Iddon so would be prepared to stretch the trip out a little.

That track really does look made for Elises.

So when are we going?!?!?

I might well try and coincide it with a "work" trip.
