not for me.

I think at the moment I'll be doing it SAS style with Robin, and doing a dawn raid.

Chance the family might tag along and go and see the outlaws, but would be surprised if that was the case.

Actually I think the Ape and I will drive down the night before and stay at the Lenny Inn in Northwich, but will drive home after the track day. Andy - are you going to trailer the 7 or drive it?

I've booked the Premier inn for the night before.

search for 'northwich sandiway' and its £61 a night. Theres a pub next door that does ok food if people are arriving early enough. Me and robin wont be down until 10pm ish though, so will probably miss food.

Trailering it I think mate. Also suspect the rangie will be the nicer place to be at 430am or whenever I head south.

Overnight pass is even trickier to negotiate

On my Recent trip to Oulton Park, I stayed at the Travel Lodge at Warrington, Lymm Services. You can book it for £25.50 for a family room (double bed plus sofa bed) if you pay the non-refundable saver rates. It was clean and comfy enough, and had free parking. Very easy to find at 11pm after a 6 hour drive down from Aberdeen

It's literally 2 minutes off the M6, and has a "local" service station (ie not motorway prices for fuel), WH Smith and a McDonalds next door. From there it's only a 20 minute drive to Oulton Park.

Would have loved to mate, promised myself Oulton was a doer this year, and may well still be, however we're headed for the Lake District for a long weekend, and dropping another £300/£400 on top of the couple of K that needs spent on the 135R before Frolic is a no go sadly!
