TrackScotland Trackday - Knockhill 20th August, 6-8pm

Post by TrackScotland » Tue Jul 26, 2011 7:40 pm

TrackScotland are running a track evening on Saturday 20th August 2011. http://trackscotland.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3035

We are using this trackday as a fundraising event for 'TrekScotland' with donations for additional drivers and passengers
See here for more details - http://www.trackscotland.co.uk/trekscotland/index.htm

TRACKDAY
* 6-8pm
* Open Pit lane 2 hour session from 6-8pm
* £75 per CAR

Tickets booked via
Track Scotland Shop

The Online Booking uses PayPal ONLY, so you can only use Credit/Debit Cards VIA PAYPAL FUNDING OPTIONS. If you would prefer not to use PayPal, cheques or bank transfer will be fine. Email for details. fee@trackscotland.co.uk

ADDITIONAL DRIVERS AND PASSENGERS
For this trackday, and the rest of our trackdays this year, we will be asking for donations from additional drivers and passengers to go towards our fundraising efforts for TrekScotland.
We would suggest a £10 donation for additional drivers and an open donation for passengers, to be given at sign on. I will be there to badger you!

Please remember we need you to book in advance to make these days happen!

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch :)

Just a quick report and some videos for the the evening.

After TrackScotland struggling to fill the last one (and having to cut back from 4 to 2 hours), this month was over subscribed with 13 reserves. Anyway, the weather was perfect and I had a new set of ZZR tyres :D

The times just kept falling and I got a 57.64 sec in the first session. The ZZR tyre is a huge step forward over the CR500. Not only was there more grip but it was really progressive if you push it past the limit.

Here's the video of the fastest session - lap 13 is the quick one but it looks like a Sunday drive :roll:

Another 57 in here . . .
session 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBlhWarfDeg

Just going with the flow in this one . . . .
