Trackday space for tomorrow for sale.

Post by Dipper » Tue Jul 03, 2012 1:06 pm

Not sure the protocol for this. I've asked track Scotland if it's ok but until I hear back, I have my space on tomorrow's reverse track day for sale as I can't make it. :(

£60 will do it if anyone interested

I'm going to be there, but the weather is looking pretty dire :( Looking forward to the reverse layout if nothing else. :D

bring on the rain - cant wait to try the GT3 in reverse in the wet!!

My tyres might even last 4 hours in that case . Bonus

First time on track in over a year and what a night for it, perfect condtions (wet) and loving the reverse track layout!

Cheers to Andy for the Pax laps, impressive as always :thumbsup

Hey Mike

Great to catch up, and good to see the mighty Trophy out scal[ing, and going well in the rain! And how it rained.....

A touch more than my totally shot rears were up for at one stage, and i nearly lost it going uphill at Duffus, driving up a river...WTF. Got it on video, but there was a fair bit of stuff being put down by some of the mod'd cars there. Dricing standards were good though, and despite the rain and reverse track layout, it went well.

4 hours was a great treat after missing the majority of the TT session, and SO nice to be out in the GT3 as opposed to being down at experience days.

Uncle Ron & Stu also made it along, in addition to Frank, and the Trackscotland regulars.

Thanks to Rich for arranging for me to take his spot - went seemlessly.

Felt a touch sorry for David & the other 7 drivers, and the weather was brutal at times!

What an awsome session, only got the last 2 1/2 hours, but made the most of them, out the whole time, bar a trip for more fuel, and was on refill again by the checkered flag :thumbsup

VX was fantastic in the wet conditions, only passed by a handfull of cars, the 2 gt3,s and the mega fiesta and a few others at the start, really started pushing it to see how it cope(usually dont push it hard in wet, just keep it tidy, but as it was quiet, I decided to see what it would do when i crossed the line, but it just got quicker. Must try harder

I did see you sideways at the hairpin David, sure you were having fun.
Enjoying KH again, its great in reverse.

One downside, the car is now sitting with 3 inches of water in it, after the trip home, really badly flooded roads between Newbridge and East Calder, sure it was floating at one point, and the water was gushing in the footwells.
