3 hour open pit lane at Knockhill

Post by JohnStewart » Tue Nov 27, 2012 2:13 pm

Knockhill have been in touch to say that they are running a track day this Sunday from 12 to 3pm, and if we can get 5 people interested, then the price will be only £60 instead of £75. It's an open pit lane session, and not a hot hatch type event.

To book simply phone: 01383 723 337 and ask to speak to Gemma or mention SIDC.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

For anyone booking on to this track day - SIDC only have 1 person on the list for the reduced rate, but Track Scotland had a couple - i booked my 2 places with them and that made the 5 to get the reduced rate - so it may be an idea for the person who put their name on the SIDC list to book on using Track scotland as its now up to the 5 x places needed.

I know I want to too!

I am doing an autotest all day tomorrow (first in quite a while)... not sure if I'll have much tyres left afterwards (starting with 2mm of tread  ). Also have other plans for Sunday,... but still tempted...

Cheers Woody. Your post has reminded me that my front dampers are not in perfect nick for track action....

Little DIY tonight on the Clio!

Adjusted the toe by a quarter turn to add some toe out to hopefully reduce the understeer on the slower speed corners, no idea how much a quarter turn equals so we will see how long it takes me to spin off tomorrow lol
