MLR Track days around the UK (apart from Knockhill)

Post by JohnStewart » Thu May 16, 2013 8:06 pm

Not everyone will be aware that the SIDC have a long standing arrangement with the MLR (since about 1998 when I attended a lot of these events), that SIDC members can attend each others track days at their respective members discounted rates.

The MLR events are run to the highest standards, with a great mix of cars taking part. If you have ever fancied driving your own car around some of the countries top circuits, then these events are highly recommended. The 2013 dates and information is listed below. These events will be listed in the SIDC shop soon, but for the meantime you can also book up using the MLR online shop. Note that the Japfest 2 event at Donington is for Japanese cars only (not sure if a Honda engined elise would qualify?), but all the other events are open to any make and model of car.

Here are this year's dates -
• Saturday 1 June: Cadwell Park full circuit
• Sunday 7 July: Donington Park National circuit****
• Saturday 17 August: Castle Combe
• Friday 11 October: Snetterton 300 circuit
