Big thanks to John for yet another fantastic day, it was great meeting some new faces and catching up with others.

Finally had the courage to turn all the toys off and have some real fun.

Cheers

Lots of fun today. Always enjoy it when everybody behaves and gives plenty of room.

David wrote:Thanks to John for another well organised trackday. Gordon and I had a good time and enjoyed catching up with folk. My 1st red flag when the throttle cable snapped at the hairpin.I had a spare but we had to dismantlement the roller barrels to swap it so I was chuffed to get that done and out again with only half an hour lost.

A video from me. Best bit is from about half way through.

Me, 3rd session

For the record, here're all my videos from the day .. . . .

Me, 1st session

Gordon, 1st session

Me, 2nd session

Snapped throttle cable

Me, 3rd session

Gordon, 2nd session

I enjoyed vid 1 David. The GTR is intriguing. Explosive up the pit straight. Woeful (relatively speaking!) through Duffus. And on the brakes about halfway along the Railway Straight, it felt like?

It was great to catch up and get some pax laps with Graham, Frank, Kev, Stu and Giles.

The driftland, some of visited seemed like a good sprint track. Great to meet Andy and Scott there.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

aye AP. thats what i meant! definite improvement. CL5+ pads all round, fresh fluid, goodridge hoses and the big AP discs. no fade on track but theres still not enough bite or feel. having to brake way to early still.

brilliant day though and couldnt ask much more of an october track day!

Thanks to John for another great event and for stu taking Scott out in the 211. He loved it. :thumbsup

My brakes were giving me grief so change of pads required. Roll on Oulton!

My second car trackday - loved it.

Thanks to Kinger and Stu for taking me round, the V6 Exige and 211 in particular have made my Evora seem rather tame now :|

Anyone want to swap a 211 for an Evora?
