A well known tall chap had a little padock chunder after a few laps with me
Ha, well remembered!

Nothing to do with the hangover, greasy breakfast, or the fact that the no-bare-arms-in-open-topped-cars police made me wear my sodding fleece in 30C heat... :puke

:D

Incidentally, last time I was there I was in my own green 160, and had a 720 spin through the esses, at speed, in the peeing rain on bald R888s.

Feel your pain Graeme, I fell foul of the no bare arms rule and after a few laps sweating like a rapist had to get the instructor to head back into the pits to avoid in-car chunder.
I didnt actually throw up but came damned close

I had a great day.
Did my first ever 360 spin, thought I was going in to the tyre wall but got nowhere near it and ended parked at the side of the track pointing in the right direction. That was with the TC/Stability management still on :-)
Once it dried up a bit the grip was excellent and I had a ball, particularly enjoyed my laps with the instructor as I got noticeably faster every lap, very confidence inspiring.
I also had half an hour in the V6 Cup, really liked it but too pricey for me at the moment, awesome thing to drive though.
Did a few pax laps with Mike 'keep it pinned' Scib, amazing how much fun 154bhp can be :thumbsup
Also had done time in the pax seat of Andys Atom. What a hoot that was. We were chasing an R500 and being chased by a cup spec Atom. Loved it, felt totally relaxed and could have sat there all day, laughing my head off most of the way round.
As for Croft v Outon, I enjoyed both, Oulton was a bit more fun but Croft is not far behind.

Great day out and the Evora was perfect for all of it :-)

That's got to be a sign of effort with the TC on lol

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).

TC only works if your foot is on the power and not lifted off?

Don't know about that, the loud pedal was firmly on the floor when it spun. It went so quickly I didn't get a chance to counter it.

I experienced similar on the road a couple of years ago in the Elise, but with hind sight I made a slight, probably involuntary , partial lift that was enough for the TC to cut out and getting back on the loud pedal then is too late as you already have the spin underway

It was damp and slippery and with hindsight I was going far too hard. Lesson learned :-)

Pretty sure the T&C's form we signed had a line in it saying commercial photography was not allowed at this event so unless there was a competent photographer who was a driver or passenger taking pics for fun, I expect not.
