OpenTrack Track Days, full day, Bank Holiday Monday

Post by JohnStewart » Thu May 08, 2014 11:52 am

I know a few of you have asked about full days at Knockhill in the past, and I've found out that OpenTrack Track Days are holding a full day at Knockhill on the Bank Holiday Monday, 26th May. £149 for the full day, which I think includes tuition, snacks and photography. Might be of interest to a few of you?

Did one with LOT a few years back.

Was very social as with a day to kill you were chatting a good bit more.

I did that with LOT as well and Andy hits the nail on the head. Ended up such an enjoyable day as you didn't feel a lot of pressure to be constantly on track. Good chance to catch up with old mates and meet new folk, and the track was less busy most of the time as well, so just made for a more relaxed, more enjoyable day. I'm sure there were fewer red flags as well, with less stress on folk - plus any red flags weren't such an issue as they would be in a 2 or 4 hour session.

Big thanks to John for mentioning my track day on here :-) he pointed me in your direction and said you are nice people ( Honest ) :D
Anyway as you can see i am running a track day at Knockhill on the bank holiday May 26th and it would be great to see some Elise's from here on the day as they are fantastic track cars as i am sure you know.
If you don't know that maybe it is time to venture on track :thumbsup we offer free tuition on the day so if you have any questions feel free to ask the instructors as they are more than happy to answer then. As mentioned further up, as a full day it is more "social and relaxing" than on a half day as you can just take it easy and relax into the day. There will be free Photography and also free snacks and drinks available all day .
It's my first time running a day up at Knockhill so i will do my best to bring the sunshine with me ........ but i have been told it's fog i need to shift
Anyway if you need to know anything feel free to ask
Thank's for letting me in to the forum !
Have fun
Dave

I have set up a discount for forum members which takes the cost to just £135 for a full day on track and the details can be found here in the Scottish Elises Offers Section http://www.scottishelises.com/phpbb/vie ... 13&t=38496

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

There are still spaces as i email'd dave yesterday. I'd seen it posted up on Tartan Tarmac.

Great there is a discount and will get booked on as soon as i get the car back from mot.

only had the mx5 on track once so this i think will be a good relaxed one for getting more experience.

Dave,

I am keen to do this day. However, I can't seem to get the website to work. Can you email me or send me a message please? I have tried emailing and will also send you a PM.

Thanks, Graham
