Yes they phone you immediately if it moves unexpectedly (not under it's own steam) or battery disconnect. They are not too happy if you don't phone them in advance.

It's a minor inconvenience on the boat, less so if you're upside down covered in petrol and decide it would be a good idea to pull the emergency battery disconnect...then your phone rings....

Frolic progress update. Now in Harlow, brilliant run down A1 etc from Penrith. No queues. Stretched the Evora to a 374 mile range. Had 40 miles remaining so 400 was on...if I'd had the nerve. Does that make it an Evora 400?!

37.7mpg for this leg. And peak of 40.4 was indicated before I hit the Harlow rush hour slog. Incredible. I wasn't sparing the horses either. Maybe the weight saving from leaving the engine cover at home, in Craig's advice ;-)

Working in London tomorrow, then Walshy day Friday. Not long to go...

Where do I remember seeing someone taking a photocopy of the drivers license to france but the blew it up on to 4 pieces of A3 taped together. Copper pulls him and he hands it over. Car behind videos the copper opening a broadsheet style U.K. paper license. Childish but awesome.

I think all I have left to do is pack the car which shouldn't take long seeing as I don't have a boot!

Even had time to fit a amp and sub in the footwell lol

See you at the bar!

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).

I doubt you have much space at all after that install, Mike. I guess we'll hear you thumping along before we see you!

Looking at how the figure changes as you drive, I reckon the Toyota ECU cruise mode is highly efficient. Coupled with cruise control, it's a winner.

Safe trip George.

I'm impressed to say that all of Team Walshy is safely present here in Essex. Even Les, whose vintage S1 has survived its rebuild and shakedown admirably :-)

Right.. Thrown stuff in a bag. Grabbed a handful of spanners I won't use and are probably the wrong size. Added tat to the car.

Think I'm ready!!
