Anything is perfect.
If no track action organised then it will be an epic road trip.......

Ha, glad somebody caught it D. !Mike Scib wrote:Good vids D! Quite surprised at the gear selection differences at Le Luc however. I was a gear higher for a lot of it over yourself which seemed to make very little difference
I ruined Georges spin on my Go-Pro by putting my arm up
Battery had died on mine
Will pluck up courage and watch it at some point...........
Cheers

Re: Frolic 13 (2015)
Worst task of the Frolic now complete, all the Black rubber marks removed and car gleaming again. I think every panel had rubber marks of some kind.
Now time for a cold beer.

Have got a pass for this next year but heard or read somewhere else that this may have been the last one....surely not....

There was a questionnaire going round for next year asking what we'd want so there is enough people interested, I think, it may be like the SPAZZ (Jock Frolic) trip though as I believe the issue is that the French tracks are becoming more specific on who they allow on track, apparently we can't do Dijon any more as they won't allow us on......... (not from any misbehaving I should add, it's more to do with the type of cars they allow on, i.e. not road cars). Paul emailed asking about interest too so there will definitely be an option.

Used Tardis from Polished Bliss and my right thumb, bloody hard work. It's much easier coming off the paint, it's the Armourfend that's the hard stuff to get it off of.C7Steve wrote:What did you use to remove the rubber?

Re: Frolic 13 (2015)
Well that's me slowly getting round to sorting pictures and videos out (some to follow below). What a trip! Seriously hope they continue to run some form of frolics in the future with this being my first I'm definitely addicted and now have the perfect excuse for going year after year as I also managed to propose to the better half while there! Surprisingly (punching well above my weight according to Ddtb) she said yes and so what better way to celebrate the anniversary of that than to go on another frolic!
The tracks were obviously fantastic but for me a big part of the holiday was the drive down through the alps and the various roads travelled around Orange and the South. truly stunning scenery and well kept roads. On top of that the evenings were a good laugh too. Both Beata and I would like to extend our thanks to all those on the trip for making us feel welcome and part of the group even though we were the noobies
anyway.... here's some of the pics from the drive down taking in the Col de telegraphe and Col de Galibier
Pics from the Sanaray, Paul Ricard, Le Luc, Ledanon and Mount Ventuex to follow...

The Tracks,
Paul Ricard, absolutely immense circuit. Fast Flowing and enough run off to allow you to push more than normal (for me at least!)
Le Luc, tight and short and turned out to be a great fun little circuit
