Mounting a camera on an S1

Hey all,

I'm thinking about getting a GoPro for track days so that I can watch myself back and see where I'm making mistakes in a bid to improve my track driving. The new Hero seems to be a decent bit of kit and would fulfill my needs.

However, what I'm struggling with is the mounts; what do most owners secure the GoPro to thier car with? I know TD organizers are not happy with suction cups anymore and I don't really want to start chopping and cutting holes in bits of the cars just to secure a camera. Ideally I could just remove it post track day as well, rather than having to have something permanently attached to the car.

If anyone has any suggestions or links to holders/mounts it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

-Mark.

I have mine on the harness bar. Before I had that I clamped it directly to the seat using a decent clamp with a normal camera mount and then a GoPro adapter, or on a GoPro mount on the rear glass. I've come close to sticking a GoPro mount to the body work but haven't committed yet. I love the pics Stu gets from the splitter if his 211.

Stick on mounts are the best idea unless you go for a roll bar mount. I'm probably going to get a couple of these -http://www.scottishelises.com/phpbb/vie ... =2&t=40060

Thanks guys,

Sadly I don't have a harness bar. A stick on mount on the rear window is acceptable? If so, that's great I'll pick up one of those :)

Many thanks chaps.
