Ali C might have something to say on that.

Steve.

There's always something faster Steve! ...and usually some properly quick cars at SIDC. :thumbsup

Atom 300 will suit KN in the dry, very point and squirt and no real high speed momentum keeping corners the 2-11 prefers.
Interesting to see XBow driven properly, every one I've ever seen on track so far was trundling round...

I am actually hoping to lap with Ali if it is dry Steve.

Twill also be a measure of ability now as last time on I was all over the place trying to keep up with him until someone pointed out that my rear tyres were down to the canvas. Went up to Ronnies and put new 48R's on and back to normal again, probably lapping in the 57's.

Exertion out of the car is now a no no but hoping that if I do 20 min sessions then I should hack it.

As I do not have a proper car I will be able to shuttle anyone requiring a lift from Asda Aberdeen to KH and back.

Might have to return through Murray's in Edinburgh......

The Atom is a bit of a handful and not the easiest car to drive. 2-11 will for sure carry more momentum through the corners as does the x-bow. An interesting mix of cars tomorrow and will be good to pax in a few different cars if possible. Of course it is down to driver ability as well. Last time up I was managing 58's but Rory from KH reckons 52's are possible after he drove my car round a few laps, of course he used to race x-bows and is very experienced.
Ali, would be delighted to let you loose in the x-bow to see what you think by comparison to the 2-11. I'm seriously contemplating getting back into a Lotus but most likely to be an Exige 380 or an Evora 410 Sport for a more usable all rounder. The 3-11 is very tempting but too restricted at that kind of money.

Yes, your car was certainly lively to say the least! ;)

Ah. Was about to say Evora 2+2 is your answer but at age 12 the rear bench will start to be a squeeze.

Oh well. Exige it is then :-)

Big Thanks to John for another fantastic day at KH. Had an absolute ball today, don't know how you managed to arrange for rain only at the hair pin, but it sure made it fun at that corner.

Here's to a few more great days next year.

Cheers

Graham

Yeah - that was weird.
Torrential rain just at the braking zone for the hair pin & half way up the straight it went off. Into Duffus .... dry!

Great event John. Top banter and hooning from the usual suspects!

Best one yet for me, had a colossal amount of laps and stayed out right to the flag.
Brake upgrade over winter for the 7, they were fine all day, but nearly crashed it taking it off the trailer when I got home, no brakes at all. Just as well I didn't join you all for the over the hills route.
As always;
1 Thank you John.
2 Sorry to anyone I didn't see in my mirror.
3 already looking forward to the next one.

Stunning day indeed, well organised as always John = thankyou

Great to see everyone on top form, good banter, excellent etiquette on track. Makes for a fabulous day out... even better when the hairpin is uniquely rain drenched. :damnfunny
