Zandvoort and Zolder double header

Post by Stu160 » Thu Apr 27, 2017 7:58 pm

Hi All

LOT have just put a nice double header up ,Zandvoort and Zolder, on the 11th and 12th of September.

2 of my favourite tracks, and not too many miles either.

Anyone?

Would love to but just too close to Frolic and I've got Zolder in June. Zandvoort is one of my favourites.

If this one had been out earlier I would booked this instead of Frolic.

Cheers Stu - this sounds like a good way to 'get to 5' for my trackday allowance...

Are you booked up?

Believe I will be fine for the trackday on the 11th but I am quite sure I have a meeting I cannot miss on the 12th (fortunately, not far from Zandvoort). Thanks for heads up.

Man Maths - thinking out loud ......

Ferry from Newcastle - Sunday at 1700
arrive morning in Amsterdam - dont know what time - cant see it
Track doesnt look far.

then drive to Zolder (2.5hrs)> hotel,
Trackday Tuesday
Ferry is at 2100 from Rotterdam on Tue Night - arrive wed morning in Hull > drive home for lunchtime

Ferry is approx £200 each way for 1 adult & one car - no food
£425 for trackdays
£400 for fuel (assuming 2 tanks per trackday & 632 miles)
£80 hotel in Zolder
Food & drink £250
total - £1,555

away to have a think ....
