I've arrived at Premier Inn, the bar is just to the right of the reception. What time do you expect to arrive.Karl-G wrote:I'll be there around 6.30 pm

Almost perfect weather. Just a wee shower now and again to sharpen the reactions.

Looks as if you are all having fun.

Re: Donnington/ Cadwell November
Great couple of days with great company and extremely fortunate with the weather. I really enjoy the end of year double header.
Donington was mostly dry all day with just a light shower or 2 to keep you on your toes.
Cadwell was wet and slippy to start but huge fun even when wet. Dried out totally and was extremely quick. Great fun lapping together and the usual good humour and banter in the pits.

New rotor arm and distributer cap and problem solved. But only fixed due to a great effort from Stu, Big D and Baz for sourcing and going to Nottingham to pick up the new parts.
Car failed at 3.45 and was back running at 6.30. I was just about resigned to AA recovery home. Meant I also had a fantastic day at Cadwell.

Only slight annoyance was the fact they refused to take Scottish Bank notes.Kinger wrote:

Good to see you again Graham....and my old 49 of course, pleased it was an easy fix at Donington so you were able to continue on to Cadwell, I've never known a rotor arm fail like that, can only assume the heat must have got to the plastic and allowed the arm to release and destroy the cap!
I'm still also amazed how you guys can drive all the way down from Scotland, take in 2 track days and then drive all the way back again that same night. You're made of tougher stuff than me...or all just mad
Sadly my photography skills aren't quite up to capturing moving objects very well but here are one or two from me anyway...

A short video of me trying to chase Baz in the mighty V6. Donnigton is a fantastic track, had a brilliant day until the distributor failed on the next session.
Think I need more power or to loose a load of weight from the waist line
