I'm hoping to get down early enough on Sunday for a visit, my last visit was about 17 years ago. Very good back then, lots of Mansell / Williams cars if I recall correctly.
I'm up for that 👍

Check out video at 4.50. I'm glad Oulton has changed some what since 1964. Way too much vertical wood at the side of the track for my liking.

I think that's when men were men and Brainless :D :D

PS. nice wee article on the Lotus Cortina

I’ve just phoned the Museum, they are still open but closing for good on the 5th November. The Lady said we may be disappointed as some of the cars have been removed already and McLaren are taking their cars away today. Think I’ll just give it a miss. 😢

Hi,
Do any of you guys know if you’re allowed to use open face helmets at these circuits. Some sh*t bag broke into my garage last night and amongst other things took my crash helmets. Don’t have much in the way of time to get a replacement before the weekend. Hoping I’ll get away with using the open face helmet that the little sh*t didn’t want. 😢😢😢

Thanks Steve, I’ll give you a call tonight. Hopefully open faced is ok. I think I’ll give Donnington a call.

Looks to be about 11-12 people on this thread. Might be worth booking ahead for curry on Sunday night. What sort of time should we do. 7pm or a little earlier? I'll call them today if we get a time sorted.

Think Robin has used an open face at every track, including those you are visiting.

Really sorry to hear about your break in though.

Some remedial action worthwhile as their mates will be back for the cars. Maybe even move them for a wee while?
